The Malta Co-operative Federation Council accepted Enerġija Pożittiva Co-op Limited as a new Member Society of the Federation on 22nd June 2017.
The MCF Council Members welcomed the members of this newly registered co-operative to the Federation. Enerġija Pożittiva Co-op joins the growing family of renewable energy cooperatives around the world. The co-operative aims to group citizens and to organise them to collectively take action on renewable energy projects. The co-operative’s members will be in a position to produce electrical energy for their own benefit directly from renewable energy sources chosen by the same members in a democratic and continuous manner.
MCF CEO Rolan Micallef Attard thanked his fellow Council Members for all the hard work and hand-holding necessary in the start-up phase of this co-operative.
