The Malta Co-operative Federation (MCF) has taken note of the November 2019 report issued by the Auditor-General on the Co-operative sector in Malta. The Federation notes that various issues raised by the Auditor-General reflect what MCF and its Members have been saying for years. In the light of this report, the Malta Co-operative Federation appeals to Government to immediately implement the recommendations of the Excelsior Accord and of the Committee appointed by Government known as the Premises and Legacy Review Committee (PLRC), so that the Maltese co-operative movement could move forward with the equity of treatment and the energy it needs to be successful.
