On March 7, 2015 the Council of the Malta Co-operative Federation approved Transport for Disabled Persons Co-operative Ltd (T.D.P.) as a new Member Society of the Federation.
TDP is a co-operative of experienced drivers who provide transport services to passengers with special needs in Malta and Gozo. They have been involved within the transport industry for over 40 years. The co-operative has established itself as the leading specialist for special needs transport, operating a fleet of 34 vehicles. The co-operative’s strategy is to ensure passenger safely and comfort offering a unique door-to-door transport service to local governmental institutions, the private sector and individual clients. The co-operative’s fleet is fully air-conditioned with easy access, low floors and are fitted with ramps and lifts that accommodate access for standard wheelchairs and light weight mobility aids, offering easy access for all passengers, the elderly, people with disabilities, parents or carers with prams and passengers carrying awkward loads.
The Council of the Malta Co-operative Federation welcome the Members of T.D.P. to the Federation and look forward to further mutual collaboration between its Member societies.
