Mediacoop is a worker-owned cooperative established in 1997. It is active in the media, communications, marketing, consultancy and training sectors. Together with its studios and equipment based in Valletta, Mediacoop offers quality services to its clients, based on communication and effective teamwork. Being a co-op, Mediacoop’s workers are its owners. Therefore all participants in the project take a direct and active role in its success. The co-operative prides itself in working WITH its clients in an open and proactive way to achieve mutually agreed targets.
Web Design
Mediacoop Ltd. provides web design services for all kinds of websites, tailor-made for the needs of every organisation. From a simple web presence to a more intricate online payment website or a web portal, we provide a website that suits your needs.
Clients include Malta Co-operative Federation, UĦM, the National Committee for the International Year of Co-operatives, Koperattiva Rurali Manikata, Koperattivi Malta, Majjal ta’ Malta, KIM Ltd, The Malta Maritime Pilots Ltd, Coop Services Ltd, Executive Transport Cooperative Ltd, Wirks Interiors, Muracel Malta, All Winds Yachting, Colegio Oficial Nacional de Practicos de Puerto and the Association of Paralegals in Namibia.
Video Productions
Mediacoop provides visual services through its state of the art digital video equipment featuring filming and non-linear editing. Services include corporate videos, documentaries, television adverts, DVD-ROM productions, and social and mobile media. Programme production includes concept, scripting, filming and editing.
Mediacoop has produced two editions of the award-wining series ‘Storja Tinkiteb’ (Malta Television Awards 2008 Best Children’s Programme), has run three schedules of ‘Project News’, as well as ‘Candid’, for TVM, as well as two schedules of a second edition of ‘Project News’, which won the Best Children’s Programme for 2009. The series ran till June 2011.
In 2010, Mediacoop produced “Flimkien Success” for Koperattivi Malta, a well as ‘Mill-Grilja”, promoting Maltese Pork, both on TVM.
Motion Graphics and Branding
Mediacoop provides creative services in Motion Graphics both for broadcast as well as the web. Uses include corporate branding, programme, as well as display graphics.
Training
Mediacoop organises and delivers courses for participants both in the public and the private sector. Training sessions are offered on subjects such as Assertiveness, Negotiation and Leadership Skills, Teamwork, Time Management, Creativity, Change Management, Team Building, Motivation, Conflict Management, Aspects of Marketing, as well as Radio and Media. These training courses are provided on site or in Mediacoop’s own fully equipped training centre.
Image Consultancy
The co-operative offers consultancy services on the image aspects of people and organizations. These services range from concept to planning and implementation. Since this service forms part of an ongoing process, Mediacoop places great emphasis on ongoing relationships with its clients.
Marketing Consultancy
Mediacoop provides for the essential elements of planning which include an assessment of an organisation’s environment, market research, a plan of action, handling of advertising efforts and in-house production services. In marketing, Mediacoop goes truly turn-key.
Public Relations
Mediacoop’s nimble relations allows it to cross-pollinate media, better anticipate needs, and craft creative, effective messages that increase awareness and get results. Mediacoop works with every trade and consumer media target across all sectors – whether that target is read, watched or listened to. Services include media relations, press article, media kits, press conferences, media releases, creative strategies, website maintenance, merchandising, document translation as well as image and footage production.
